The strike of train drivers in Germany will end early. "Deutsche Welle" disseminates the information .

According to media reports, the union and the railway operator held talks, after which the train drivers said they plan to return to work on Monday at 14:00, while the freight train drivers are to end the strike at 18:00 on Sunday.

"Negotiations are finally on the right track. Our employees have the prospect of a salary increase", said the director of human resources of Deutsche Bahn, Martin Seiler.

As Seiler noted, there will be no more strikes until March 3.

"Negotiations are scheduled to take place over the next five weeks, and no strikes are scheduled until at least March 3," Seiler said.

As is known, on January 19, "Deutsche Bahn" offered the employees a proposal for improved conditions, but the train drivers refused to return to the negotiating table. They demand an increase in salary by 550 euros, compensation for inflation for 12 months and reduction of the working schedule from 38 to 35 hours.
