Britney Spears apologized to Justin Timberlake

Britney Spears posted a video of Justin Timberlake's appearance on Jimmy Fallon's show on Instagram and apologized to her ex-boyfriend.

"I want to apologize for some things I wrote in my book. I'm very sorry if I hurt someone who is not for me. Also, I'd like to say that I'm in love with Justin Timberlake's new song Selfish," Spears wrote, noting that she also liked Timberlake's other song Sanctified.

Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were together from 1999-2002. Their romance began when Britney was 17 and Justin was 18.

A few months ago, Spears released an autobiography in which she wrote that Timberlake forced her to terminate the pregnancy during their affair. Because of this, Timberlake's release caused a negative reaction among Britney Spears fans.

Selfish is the first song that Timberlake released after the release of Spears' memoir . It should be noted that in 2011 Spears herself recorded the composition with the same name. Furious Britney fans started streaming Spears' Selfish after Timberlake's song was released, hoping the old song would overtake Justin's new composition on the charts.
