Jordan will meet Qatar in the Asian Cup final

The pair of final matches of the 2024 Asian Cup in football are known. In the decisive match of the championship of the continent, the team of Jordan will meet the host of the tournament, Qatar.

The Jordanian national team qualified for the final yesterday in a match against South Korea, and today, in the second semi-final, Qatar defeated one of the main favorites of the tournament, the Iranian national team, 3:2.

The match between Qatar and Iran started with the advantage of the Iranians and in the 4th minute Sardar Azmoun put them ahead. Qatar soon improved the quality of the game, Abdulsalami and Afifi scored in the first half and the hosts took the lead 2:1.

Alizera Jahanbakhsh restored the balance at the start of the second half, and in the 82nd minute, one of the leaders of the home team, Almoez Ali, brought the Qatar national team to the finals.

As a result, Qatar has a chance to defend the title, the national team of this country became the winner of the Asian Cup in 2019. As for Jordan, they will play in the final of the continental championship for the first time.
