Qatar team became the winner of the Asian Cup for the second time in a row

In the final of the Asian Cup, the national team of Qatar defeated Jordan 3:1 and won the title of the continent's champion for the second time in a row.

The Asian Cup was hosted by Qatar this year and the final of the tournament was held at the Lusail Stadium. This is the place where in 2022 the Argentina national team defeated France in the final of the World Cup.

Qatari striker Akram Afif became the main hero of the meeting between the teams of Qatar and Jordan, he used all three penalties assigned to Jordan's goal and scored a hat trick. Al Naimat managed to appear from the ranks of the Jordanian national team.

Akram Afif became the best scorer and player of the tournament, he scored eight goals in the tournament. Qatari goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham was also named the best goalkeeper.
