Joe Biden urges Congress to vote on bipartisan deal on national security as soon as possible

US President Joe Biden calls on Congress to vote on a bipartisan agreement on national security as quickly as possible .

"We have now reached agreement on a bipartisan national security agreement that includes the toughest and fairest border reforms in decades, which I strongly support," the US president said in a statement .

According to him, the agreement will make the USA safer and the border more secure .

"The bipartisan national security agreement also addresses two other important priorities." This allows the United States to continue our vital work with partners around the world to support Ukraine's freedom and support its ability to defend itself against Russian aggression. As I have said before, if we do not stop Putin's appetite for power and control in Ukraine, it will not be limited to Ukraine and the cost to America will increase. This agreement also gives Israel what it needs to protect its people and protect itself from Hamas terrorists. It provides life-saving humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people," the statement said.

According to Joe Biden, if the US stands together and unites, it can do anything.

"Now House Republicans have to decide if they want to fix the problem." I made my decision. I am ready to solve the problem. I am ready to protect the border and the American people. We cannot allow partisan politics to interfere with our responsibilities as a great nation. I refuse to do that. In such moments we must remember who we are. We are the United States of America and nothing is beyond us if we do it together. I urge Congress to come together and quickly pass this bipartisan agreement. Bring it to my desk so I can sign it immediately," the statement said.
