Two activists pour soup over Claude Monet's 'Spring' at Lyon's Museum of Fine Arts

In Lyon, France, two activists poured soup over Claude Monet's painting "Spring" at the Museum of Fine Arts in Lyon. The French media reports on this .

The activists were representatives of the "food counterattack", which had previously poured soup on Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa in the Louvre museum.

"This 'spring' will be all we have left if we don't react." What will our future artists draw? What will we dream about if there is no more spring?" - say the activists.

Claude Monet's painting was not protected by special glass and it is not known how much it was damaged.

Both activists are arrested.
