Jens Stoltenberg - Any suggestion that allies won't protect each other undermines security, I expect the US to remain a staunch NATO ally regardless of who wins the election

According to Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of NATO , an attack on any member of the alliance will be followed by a united and strong response.

Stoltenberg spoke about this after the statement of the former President of the USA, Donald Trump.

"Any suggestion that allies will not protect each other undermines all of our security, including that of the United States, and puts American and European troops at increasing risk." Regardless of who wins the presidential elections, I expect that the US will remain a strong and loyal ally of NATO," said the NATO Secretary General.

Stoltenberg added that NATO is "capable of protecting all allies."
