Chief of General Staff of Tsahal: We will not allow hospitals to become a haven for terrorism

Hertz Halev

We will not allow hospitals to become a haven for terrorism, said the Chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Hertz Halevi.

On January 30, Israeli soldiers dressed in civilian and medical uniforms conducted a special operation in a hospital located in the West Bank of Jordan. According to the Israeli Armed Forces, in order to prevent the terrorist attack, 3 Palestinian terrorists were killed.

"We do not want to turn hospitals into battlefields, where there are patients on the right, doctors and nurses on the left, and terrorists in the middle. However, it is our firm decision not to allow hospitals to become a haven for terrorism," said the Chief of General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces.

"We are fighting serious terrorism. We will continue to attack, we will continue to eliminate terrorists, we will continue to destroy infrastructure," he added.
