Finland is not afraid of Russia, but we are vigilant, - said the President of Finland, Sauli Niinisto .

According to Niinisto, Russia continues its aggressive war against Ukraine, and this war has awakened Europe and strengthened transatlantic ties.

“My answer is that we are not afraid, but we are vigilant. It was like that for decades," Niinisto said.

He said that Finland's security model, the country's defense capabilities, self-confidence and desire to protect the country deserve praise.

"Finland's model is a guarantee of peace. If the NATO countries in Europe did this, the combined forces would be enormous. No one could attack such a strong player," Niinisto said.
