Czech, Slovak and Hungarian farmers held a protest on the Czech-Slovakian border

Czech, Slovak and Hungarian farmers held a protest on the border of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. "Reuters" agency disseminates the information about this .

The participants of the rally demand from the European Union to ease the bureaucracy and environmental regulations. According to them, the unlimited import of agricultural products from non-EU countries should be stopped, because European farmers are in conditions of unfair competition and suffer huge losses. In particular, we are talking about products imported from Ukraine.

The participants of the action temporarily blocked the border of the Czech Republic and Slovakia with tractors. According to the information of the Czech Agrarian Chamber, 3,000 tractors were deployed at the rally in the Czech Republic alone. Protesters also plan to block checkpoints on the border between the Czech Republic and Germany.

In addition, "Politico" publication writes that farmers are going to hold another protest in Brussels on Monday.
