Slovak farmers came to the country's parliament with tractors as a sign of protest. Traffic in the vicinity of the Parliament was disrupted due to the protest.

According to the local media , this is the largest protest in the history of Slovakia.

Earlier, Czech, Slovak and Hungarian farmers held a protest on the Czech-Slovakian border. Farmers in various European countries, including Poland, France, Germany, Spain and Italy, are asking the EU to ease red tape and environmental regulations. According to them, the unlimited import of agricultural products from non-EU countries should be stopped, because European farmers are under conditions of unfair competition and suffer huge losses. In particular, we are talking about products imported from Ukraine.
