The Netherlands, Germany and Poland will create a corridor for the movement of military equipment

The Netherlands, Germany and Poland signed a declaration on the creation of a military corridor for the movement of troops and military equipment, said the head of the Dutch Ministry of Defense Kaisa Ollongren.
“We need a “military Schengen” to move military personnel and equipment faster and more efficiently. This will make Europe stronger. We have taken an important step: Poland, Germany and the Netherlands signed a declaration on the creation of a military corridor,” Ollongren wrote on Wednesday on the social network X.
Earlier, the head of the NATO Joint Logistics Command, Alexander Solfrank, in an interview with the media, stated his desire to create a “military Schengen”, within which the troops of the alliance countries will be able to move freely. Currently, NATO forces face obstacles in the form of a number of national regulations when moving people and ammunition. The NATO official added that it is necessary to "prepare the theater" of potential military action in advance in case of possible application of Article 5 of the NATO charter on collective defense. At the same time, the press secretary of the Russian President  Dmitry Peskov , commenting on these statements, emphasized that Europe does not want to listen to Russia’s security concerns and ignores the principle of the indivisibility of security.
